Pacific County accident sends 4 to hospital

April 15, 2014

4 people were injured and sent to the hospital when an SUV rolled outside of Raymond and struck a car.

The Washington State Patrol says that a 62 year old Raymond man was driving west on SR 6, 8 miles outside of Raymond, when he went off the road and into gravel.

When the man overcorrected his 2000 Dodge Durango, the SUV rotated across the road hitting a 2011 Ford Fusion heading east and sending it into the ditch. The Durango also rolled into the ditch before landing on its wheels.

Inside the Durango, the 62 year old and a 15 year old from Raymond were both injured. A 67 year old Port Angeles man and his 65 year old wife were also injured in their car.

All 4 were sent to Willapa Harbor Hospital for their injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.
