Hoquiam treatment center ribbon cutting announced
The Evergreen Treatment Services will celebrate the opening of their new facility on Leevee Street in Hoquiam with a ribbon cutting this month on April 29th.
The clinic is set up to treat people with opioid dependence using a medication assisted system that includes methadone and suboxone.
According to Vera Kalkwarf with Grays Harbor County Public Health & Social Services, “Establishing this clinic locally is projected to save the state more than $600,000 in transportation costs for current clients alone. More importantly, it will expand treatment access for a community hard-hit by the heroin epidemic.”
Staff will be answering questions and providing tours of the new facility.
Evergreen Treatment Services operates three clinics in Western Washington, with over 40 years experience.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on April 29th at 1:00 pm.
