Driving while drowsy sends 19 year old to hospital

April 25, 2014

Falling asleep at the wheel caused a car with 3 people from Pacific County off the road and down a hill.

A 21 year old Lebam man was driving south on SR 101, just south of Rock Crusher Hill, when he fell asleep while driving. When he did, his 2000 Kia Sephia left the road to the right before rolling down an embankment.

A 21 year old Raymond man and 19 year old Raymond woman were also in the car. The 19 year old was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

The driver was charged with Negligent Driving.
