Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputies arrest man from Oakville assault

May 15, 2014

Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputies arrested one of the men suspected of a home invasion assault in Oakville earlier this month.

Wednesday afternoon, deputies and officers with the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office and Chehalis Tribal Police were able to find a 23 year old Oakville man on Balch Road in Oakville that they believe was one of two masked men who kicked in the door of an Oakville home on May 1.

When the men came into the home, they assaulted the residents inside, but during a struggle, one of the men’s masks was partially removed, revealing his face and the men fled the home without taking anything. GHSO has been searching for those men since the attack.

The suspect was booked for Attempted Robbery 1st degree, Burglary, and assault. Police are looking for the second suspect, a 28 year old man also from Oakville.

At this time it is not known if these two men were also involved in the robbery to the Green Harbour Co-op on April 8.
