Local practice made perfect for Aberdeen Marching Band

The Aberdeen Marching Band travelled to Victoria, British Columbia over the weekend for the 116th Victoria Day Parade.

18 bands from America travelled across the border for the parade, and Aberdeen ranked 1st out of American schools for their division.

According to the AHS drum majors and the Times Colonist, they placed 1st out of all Drum Majors in the parade, both American and Canadian. Hoquiam also attended the parade, placing 2nd for Drum Majors.

According to CTV, this was the 32nd year that Aberdeen has been in the parade.
