We’ve been searching for a candidate with the vision to actuate the many varied opportunities available here and we found that in Ryan.” comments Jim Ed Norman of the appointment.

“Ryan is known for his passion and his dogged determination, both of which will serve him well in his new role here,” adds Taylor Childress, Vice President of The Curb Group. “His meteoric rise during his 10 plus years working in radio made him one of the youngest Program Directors in the format– demonstrating his ‘Can Do’ attitude. He has the intelligence and vision needed to lead Curb Records’ promotion efforts.

“After 50 years in business, Curb Records has enjoyed a lasting legacy of great talent. Jim Ed Norman as CEO has brought such a breadth of solid experience and commitment to our company and to our artists. Anyone who knows Ryan Dokke personally can attest that his career has been marked by a pattern of having achieving milestones earlier than expected. He started in radio as an intern while still in high school at KXXK-Aberdeen, where he first earned his stripes as Program Director at the ripe age of 21, and was recognized in 2008 by Edison Media Research for their ‘Top 30 Under 30’ Award. Dokke went on to spend time On-air at KMPS (Seattle). His last post in radio was for three years as Assist. Program Director – Music Director at Clear Channel staple WKKT 96.9 The Kat / Charlotte, where Dokke made valuable connections to NASCAR and racing personalities as well as to Nashville, where he moved in 2011, assuming the role of Manager, Regional Promotion for Arista Records, North East. At Arista, Dokke was responsible for promotion efforts on behalf of the roster, including Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Jerrod Niemann, The Swonn Brothers, Kix Brooks, The Henningsens and Ronnie Dunn.

He’s also a great human being and is lauded industry-wide for his solid character. I cannot think of a more perfect choice to help us usher in a new and exciting era for Curb Records.”

“In my career I have always pushed myself to aim higher than the bar set in front of me. I am grateful to Mike Curb, Jim Ed and Taylor for giving me the chance to focus my energy on this artist roster. It’s an exciting time to be at Curb Records and I am thrilled to be part of the team,” said Dokke of his appointment.

Curb Records, celebrating 50 years as one of the world’s leading independent music companies, is part of The Curb Group. Its current roster includes Gold and Platinum selling artists Rodney Atkins, Lee Brice and Wynonna Judd as well American Young, Ashley Gearing, Rachel Holder, Mo Pitney and Sweetwater Rain.
