Over $300,000 raised at Grays Harbor Relay For Life

The Grays Harbor Relay For Life raised over $304,000 from 59 teams and 664 participants according to the official website.

This year, Saint Andrew’s Church raised the most money that will be donated to the American Cancer Society with almost $41,000, and Bob Muhlhauser, of 2nd highest earner Team Bob, with his pepperoni sales were once again the top participant with over $21,000 for the year, bringing over $10,000 more than the next highest individual.

LeRoy Tipton, official announcer at the event, says that Grays Harbor is unmatched in its generosity and he believes that the survivors who come to Relay for Life are the most encouraging part of the event every year.

The Relay For Life of East Grays Harbor starts on Friday, June 13 at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds and the Relay For Life of Willapa Bay begins on Saturday, July 19th at Raymond High School.
