Registered Sex Offender crosses Myrtle Street into Aberdeen

A Level 3 Sex Offender with a High Risk to re-offend has moved from Hoquiam to Aberdeen

26 year old Brett Swarthout was convicted in 2000 for Indecent Exposure and Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes in Grays Harbor. He was also convicted in 2004 of Rape 2nd Degree.

Aberdeen Police tell KXRO that Swarthout has moved from the 300 block of Wheeler Avenue in Hoquiam to the 700 block of East Wishkah in Aberdeen.

He is not wanted by the police at this time.

There are over 19,000 sex or kidnapping offenders who have registered since 1990 and are currently living in Washington. Approximately 400 are registered in Grays Harbor and approximately 150 are registered within the city limits of Aberdeen.
