Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain need crew for Canadian filming schedule
The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain have a need for additional crew during a special Canadian film charter July 13-17. Due to confidentiality, the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport cannot release the name of the production, but did confirm that “it’s happening in BC waters.”
While the project is not known, previously, the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport has filmed in the same waters for Once Upon a Time as the Lady doubles as Captain Hook’s ship The Jolly Roger. This week, co-creator Adam Horowitz announced that additional casting is underway for the next season of the show. Filming for the series in Vancouver, BC is scheduled to start on July 9th.
Both boats need licensed and unlicensed crew at all levels who have valid passports or enhanced Washington State drivers licenses and can travel in and out of Canada. Sailing experience preferred. You’ll join the ship in Anacortes on July 12 and return to Anacortes on July 17. You may be able to stay with the boats longer if the need arises.
“You’ll come home with a great story to tell. You may be able to stay with the boats longer if the need arises.” said the Seaport.
