Vacant Hoquiam gas station no longer vacant
Hoquiam Mayor Jack Durney announced during the Mayor’s report of the Hoquiam City Council Meeting last night that a new business will be coming to town.
“There’s an application for a permit to sell beer and wine in the old Chevron Station at 6th and Simpson.” According to Durney, “It looks like someone is going to get the gas going again and have a minimart and do all the things that need to be done. So that’s going to be a great thing for our downtown.”
The property has been vacant for several years.
