Filing for county offices begins next week

Filing for political office in Grays Harbor begins Monday, May 14th and ends Friday, May 18.

In-Person filing for county offices will start at 8 am on Monday at the Grays Harbor County Auditor’s office in Montesano. Filing will be done Tuesday through Friday during regular business hours from 9 to 12 and 1 to 5.

Online filing for county or state offices begins at 9 a.m. Monday and ends at 4 pm on Friday on the county web site at http://www.co.grays-harbor.wa.us.

Local county offices up for filing and their corresponding filing fees include:

Superior Court Justices, Positions 1, 2, and 3
Filing fee $1,488.31

County Commissioners, Positions 1 and 2
Filing fee $ 762.24

PUD Commissioner Position 1
Filing fee $ 216.00

You must be registered to vote in the district for which you are filing and will be asked for a valid email address for use by elections in sending confirmation of filing and notices from the election office.
