Grays Harbor PUD Names Interim General Manager

The Grays Harbor PUD Board of Commissioners announced yesterday that Doug Streeter will serve as Interim General Manager while the search process for a new General Manager continues.

Streeter has been with the PUD for 9 years and currently serves as the PUD’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

The Interim Manager is not an applicant for the full-time General Manager position and will serve as the Board of Commissioners completes the selection process for a new General Manager to replace Rick Lovely. Lovely announced his retirement last July after serving 13 years at the helm of Grays Harbor PUD. PUD Commissioner Russ Skolrood says Streeter’s experience makes him a good choice for the job.

Skolrood said “Doug Streeter’s experience and knowledge of the PUD makes him a good choice to serve as Interim General Manager. We are confident in Doug’s ability to keep us moving forward while we find a replacement.”

Lovely has continued to serve in the position while the Board established the process for selecting a replacement and his last day on the job will be Friday, January 25, 2013.
