Harbor Paper to Resume Full Scale Operations

March 6, 2013

The Elliott Rust Companies and Harbor Paper have announced that the mill will resume full-scale operations. On March 7, the mill will briefly shut down the powerhouse for maintenance. Shortly thereafter, the Grays Harbor community will again see the steam billowing from the mill’s smokestack.

Harbor Paper’s new President, Joe Scolari quoted Ben Franklin and said “out of adversity comes opportunity”. Scolari also said “Over the last week, we have seized many opportunities by reaching out to our strategic partners and the Grays Harbor community. We want to extend our gratitude to our employees, partners, and community for their resourcefulness and support.”
