Comcast Chooses Miller Jr High for Project

April 10, 2013

Miller Jr. High School has been chosen to be a part of Comcast Cares Day, one of the largest single corporate days of service in the nation. Volunteers will be painting the new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Lab as well as tidying up outside grounds.

Aberdeen Superintendent Dr. Thomas Opstad says that they are very excited that Comcast Cares has chosen Miller Junior High as one of their projects this year.

Comcast Cares Days involves over 2,000 Comcast customers, family members, friends, and community partners donating their time to community service projects.

Miller Jr. High is one of 12 projects in the region that Comcast Cares will be taking on this year.
