UPDATE: SCHOOL DELAYS & CLOSURES

The following are school delays and closures that KXRO has received (as of 9:28am Tue.) for January 17th.

Grays Harbor Co. Schools:
Hoquiam Schools: Buses on snow rts –
Aberdeen Schools: No service to Bench Drive. –
Cosmopolis: SCHOOL ON TIME The bus will be on the snow route: High School students will meet at the Artic RV Park at 6:45 AM and the Elementary Students will meet at 7:45 AM at the Artic RV Park.
Lake Quinault: 2 hrs late
Elma: Closed
Montesano: Closed
McCleary: Closed
Wiskah Valley: 2 hours late, No AM preschool and no bus service to Greenwood Road. Oakville: Closed
Ocosta: 2 hours late, No AM preschool, headstart 2 hrs late
Taholah: Closed
North River: Closed

Pacific Co. Schools:
Willapa Valley: Closed
South Bend: 2 hrs late, No AM preschool, Buses on snow rts
Raymond: 2 hrs late, No AM preschool, Buses on snow rts

Mason County Schools:
Mary M. Knight: Closed

Colleges And Universities:

Grays Harbor College: College will open at 10AM. Classes before 10AM are canceled. Students and employees are not to come in before 10AM.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from tonight at midnight through Wednesday and a Winter Weather Advisory through 4pm this afternoon. A significant amount of snow is being forecast through Wednesday.
